Accreditation encompasses industry-leading SBCs, gateways and policy servers

Communications experts Connect are delighted to have secured Gold Partner status with secure VoIP solution provider Ribbon Communications. Connect becomes one of just 12 gold partners listed on Ribbon’s online partner locator – and one of only two global gold partners certified for PSX.

The accreditation follows Connect’s team demonstrating their expertise with Ribbon’s Intelligent Edge™ portfolio and in particular with the following products:

  • Ribbon Edgemarc
  • Ribbon SBC Edge
  • Ribbon SBC Core
  • Ribbon Connect
  • PSX

The products are key enablers of cloud-based communications strategies and help businesses move to global SIP – improving unified communications (UC) performance and capability. As they bring intelligence to the network edge, they are increasingly recommended by Connect as part of the company’s Intelligent SIP solution, which gives businesses the security, control and network performance they need globally, and in its Session Border Control (SBC) as a Service offering. 

The SBCaaS is actually built using Ribbon’s portfolio and now offers direct routing for Microsoft Teams calls – delivering a significant increase in quality and reliability for many organisations that have come to rely on Teams over the last 18 months.
